ANNA ABERNETHY
Dr. Anna Abernethy is a native of Concord NC, but has lived in Raleigh for the past 10 years. She came to Raleigh to attend college & graduated from Meredith College Magna Cum Laude in 2001 with a BS in biology and a minor in chemical physics. After completing college, Dr Abernethy attended & graduated from UNC Dental School in 2005. While at UNC, she was the co-leader of Give Kids a Smile Day, coordinator of the UNC Head Start Program, and the team captain of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

She is affiliated with the American Dental Association, American Association of Women Dentists, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society.

She is happily married to Jason Douglas of Raleigh NC, who is currently a Realtor with Remax. Together they enjoy traveling & hunting and have even gone as far as Africa to explore the different wildlife. Dr. Abernethy also entertains herself with reading and weight training.
